Wander Lust: A sassy, sexy memoir of my journey from the known to the wild unknown.

Warning: This book may result in the impulse buy of a one way plane ticket to anywhere.

There I was, again, sitting in a boring, gray cubicle. Meddling through emails as I drank copious amounts of coffee, waiting for something, anything, exciting to happen. At 5:00pm I’d go home, eat dinner, watch TV, and wait for the weekend to meet friends for drinks. I was 24 and already bored out of my mind. Could this really be it? For the rest of my life?

Then one day, it clicked. Life can and should be thrilling. But it’s up to me to make that happen.

So I quit my job. I packed one suitcase. I moved to Barcelona, a city I had only seen in pictures. And thus began a wild adventure into the sexy world of foreign men, coffee and cigarettes, late night discos, early morning language classes, paper maps, and life on the open sea.

This is my true and compelling story of escaping the predictable, fully embracing the unknown, and lustfully devouring the beauty, pain and fulfillment that comes with it.

Oh no. Another travel blog.

I KNOW.

I won’t even tell you that this one is “different than the others!” That’s for you to decide.

I’m a writer. I’m based in marvelous Mexico City. And I spend lots of weekends away exploring new places, taking pictures, and writing about it.

Since you’re here, you might be:

  • looking for inspiration for a weekend away

  • researching things to do in a particular location

  • in need of a virtual escape from reality

All of which, I can help you with. If you’re looking for information on a place I haven't posted here, feel free to write to me. I may have been there, or I may know someone there, or I may know someone who knows someone there.

WARNING!
This may result in an impromptu trip to a place you’ve never been before.
